With the WaterMat EX-Plus, you get all the benefits of the original and genuine WaterMat EX...PLUS more!
As with all of our products, the same "WaterMat Difference" is baked into the EX-Plus. Our webmaster made a goof last year and the EX-Plus reviews got mixed in with the EX's, so we apologize for the lack of EX-Plus reviews here, where they rightly belong. And, if you watch the WaterMat Quality Challenge and think that the WaterMat EX is impressive, the WaterMat EX-Plus is even MORE durable.
We received our mat promptly. Very good customer service. Used it this past weekend, Fathers day. Kids and adults had a blast. Easy to get up on. East to put in the water. Absolute Hell to wrap up. We had to tow it to shore where we could stand in the water. Even then it was difficult. Keep in mind this mat is thick, high quality. I do manual labor but this thing was an absolute b**** to roll up. Phil on Jun 20th 2017
I spent many hours researching water mats and ran across this mat during my internet research. After comparing the top water mats on the market I decided to purchase this one because of the material, dual surface textures, thickness, dimensions, warranty and price. The width of this mat is perfect. The other mats on the market are 6' wide. Five feet is more manageable for carrying and hauling. We took it out on our boat this weekend and had a great time. It unrolled very nicely on the water and did not curl on the ends like other mats I've seen. I had six very active kids on the mat ages 9, 10, 13, 13, 15, 18, and two adults. The mat handled everyone great. The mat had no problem with the oldest kids jumping off the boat onto the mat. Just to test the mat's flotation we had four people (total weight over 500lbs) stand very close together on the mat. The mat took on water but felt secure. Adults had no problem running and jumping on the mat with the kids on it. Both surfaces are fun to play on. The bungee lanyards on both ends of the mat work great and gave enough flexibility tied to our boat. I have to admit it was a chore rolling the mat back up from the boat. It was a two person job but was manageable. The mat did get a couple scuff marks and nicks in it from all the horse play, but overall I think it will wear well. We put our 35lbs dog on the mat to its dislike. Its nails left indentations in the mat so I will not do that again. Overall, I'm pleased with the mat. The mat does scuff easier than I would like but I expect to get many years of fun out of it. Unknown on Jun 6th 2017
Our kids love it. They are 6 and 8, they car run on it without sinking it at all. As a larger man(230), I can lay on it no problem, walking out sinks about 1 foot where my feet are, but I can try to walk.
It is very difficult to roll back up, we can not roll it tight enough while on the boat to close it, we have to get it back on shore to roll it up correctly. V Pratt on May 27th 2017
